Far Infrared Bacteria Media
This product is the far infrared super ceramics added, expensive gems, silicon ore, germanium an Ad tourmaline. Because their materials choose strictly and far infrared ray releases anion, the wavelength of far infrared ray is 4-14 microns, and the emission rate is 0.78-0.9, therefore, it can enhance the immunity of the KOI and other aquarium fish. What's more, the minerals dissolve out of ore let fish grow healthier.
The far-infrared bacteria house is not made of calcium and as such it will never erode and thus does not need maintaining, the pH value is neutral.

New advanced filtration media
Plastic media, for use in biological pond filters - specifically in moving bed bio reactors, was pioneered by Evolution Aqua, some 20 years ago. In recent years, other plastic media have come onto the market, usually with the aim of trying to get more and more surface area. However, one drawback to using plastic media has always been the time it takes to establish a stable biofilm – essential for good filtration.
After many years of research, Evolution Aqua have now developed a new media that not only gives class leading surface area, but also overcomes the problem of long maturation times.
Class leading surface area
K+Media is designed and manufactured in the UK by Evolution Aqua. This advanced media, with its innovative design, and class leading surface area provides enhanced biological and mechanical filtration.
As Evolution Aqua extrude K+Media, Minerals and Enzymes are added to the raw material. The result of this process, unique to Evolution Aqua, is a filtration media that not only outperforms most of its competitors due to its large protected surface area, but also answers the problem of how to speed up the time taken to mature your filter.
As standard in the Burtons range, these drums come with a 60-micron screen, and a weatherproof auto control box, which now comes complete with our socket panel as standard which means you can just simply plug your UV and pumps straight in to the sockets for easy installation. These drums feature 3 x 110mm inlets and 3 x 110mm outlets. This drum filter is fitted with a cover switch, which cuts power to the drum motor and UVs when the lid is lifted off. Low wattage wash pump included and pre fitted. Installation height above water level is 25cm. 2 x 20-watt Uvs can be added. Our drums are all designed to have Uvs fitted inside the filter. As well as stopping green water Uvs inside the drum help keep the drum screen clean resulting in less cleaning cycles. If the correct size Uv is added there’s no need for additional Uvs to be fitted to your pond. Suitable for flow rates up to 35,000lph for gravity fed systems and 25,000lph for pump fed systems. Varipumps by Evolution
Varipump by Evolution Aqua is a controllable pond pump, suitable for large ponds. Output and energy consumption can be controlled at the push of a button allowing you to set the flow rate to your needs, whilst monitoring the wattage that the pump is running at. The motor is quiet and reliable, delivering consistent performance.
Available in three sizes, 10,000lph, 20,000lph and 30,000lph, Varipump is powerful enough to run the largest of ponds and filters, and in the most demanding of situations. It can be used as a submersible pond pump or it can be installed out of the pond, drawing water from the pond and through your filtration system.

Evolution Aqua’s pond UV clarifiers deliver even greater performance and improved serviceability. Our range of six evoUV pond clarifiers are made using the very latest technology and design techniques, ensuring there is even water flow through the unit, and optimum ultraviolet light penetration.
One new feature is the ease of the serviceability of the evoUV. Changing bulbs, quartz sleeves or replacing a ballast are quick and simple to do.
The evoUV is simple to install, with universal mounting plates allowing you to fix the unit horizontally or vertically, or at any angle you choose.
